The Ft. Worth Aluminum Foundry, a long time sponsor of the North Texas Chapter of ASM, has graciously offered to allow us a tour of their facility.  The tour, from 3 until 5 pm, is limited so please RSVP by Friday, June 3rd, to Bob Klug (214) 236-2181 or travelbob2003@yahoo.com

  

The Ft. Worth Aluminum Foundry, started in 1972 by Stanley Bass and still family operated, is a no-bake foundry with an updated green sand facility that direct pours prototype to high production castings up to 1000 lbs.  They recently installed four 2000 lb Thermtronix electric melting and holding furnaces. 

A presentation by Stan Bass, of Ft. Worth Aluminum will be provided following the tour, 6pm at the Los Vaqueros Restaurant,
Fiesta Rm., 2629 North Main St., Ft. Worth, Texas 76164. 
Dinners can be purchased off the menu.
